Boating
The protected waters of Deep Bay are great for paddling, waterskiing,
power boating and sailing. For the more adventurous boaters and fisherman
- the crystal clear, deep waters of Georgian Bay are accessible through
the Collins Bay Channel off Deep Bay. Georgian Bay is a boater's paradise.
Its sparkling waters attract cottagers, divers, anglers, sailors and
vacationers alike. The eastern shores of the Bay are considered by
many to be one of the greatest sailing and cruising areas of the world.

Fishing
Since it's opening in the 1940's, anglers have been returning to Inverlochy
Resort and the great fishing waters of Deep Bay. This secluded fresh
water heaven provides a perfect fish habitat for Georgian Bay's vast
and spectacular fishing waters. Deep Bay is an angler's paradise.
Quality fishing for Northern Pike, Muskie, Lake Trout, Bass, Jumbo
Perch and Walleye abounds here.

Swimming
Our beautiful sandy beach located at the end of the bay is an ideal swimming area for children and
adults alike. Jump into the clear warm water from our swim platform - 10 metres from shore - and
swim til your heart’s content, without any worries of dangerous boat traffic passing by.

Canoeing
Follow the dramatic shoreline of Deep Bay in your canoe or kayak.
Deep Bay is a sheltered body of water, which rarely gets rough making
it ideal for both, amateur and experienced canoeist to explore its
beauty. |

Viewing
The Inverlochy Resort property has a great variety of wildlife including, white-tailed deer, chipmunks,
foxes and an assortment of reptiles, amphibians and birds such as fishers, blue herons and ducks. |

Hiking
Lookout Point Trail 3.7 km (1.5 hours)
Our trail passes through a variety of forest types including a typical
Canadian Shield landscape of smooth, pink granite rock on its way
to a magnificent view of Deep Bay. |

Biking
Inverlochy road is a private road with very low traffic, which is
great for biking.

Tennis
Enjoy a game of tennis on one of our two professional outdoor tennis
courts. Our two tennis courts are built on a hill overlooking the
bay – allowing the summer breeze to caress the sweat from the
heat of your game.
